Café Rivense is a family-owned micro-mill in southern Costa Rica, run by the Ureña Rojas family—Regulo, Isabel, and their four sons: Ricardo, Mario, Esteban, and Luis. Together, they have created one of the most modern and organized farms in the Chirripó region, which has been developing since 2005 with a focus on independence and sustainable agriculture.

Their La Guaca plantation, located at an altitude of approximately 1,700 meters above sea level, bears a name inspired by local legends about "golden graves"—places where ancient inhabitants hid their treasures. Today, the true treasure of this place is its coffee beans, which, thanks to the passion of the Ureña Rojas family, have gained worldwide recognition.
