This coffee comes from plantations owned by members of the New Murarandia Farmers Cooperative Society, a cooperative of over 650 local farmers in the Muranga region, south of Nyeri. Each farmer cultivates their coffee bushes on small plots—often less than one hectare. The harvested coffee is then shipped to the Murarandia Factory, a processing facility that has been operating continuously since 1997.

The cooperative works closely with Sucafina/Kahawa Bora, which supports farmers through training in modern coffee cultivation, harvesting, and processing methods. This collaboration ensures that each batch from Murarandia retains the exceptional purity of profile, balanced flavor, and characteristic precision for which Kenyan coffee is renowned.
